Belem inside
What an experience !
It is indeed a special city, and colourful.
The convective weather does its job. Almost all the evenings, a huge thunderstorm discharges its water over the city.
It is like a shower on steroids. A single drop is almost able to wet somebody, because they are huge.
Yesterday a bought an umbrella. Today, it has been serrated by an aviation engineer, and it is going to be certified for me by the Brasilian Civil Aviation. The umbrella has to comply with the aircraft airworthiness and has to be able to fit the airplane.
I will test fly it tomorrow !
Then, if after the flight the umbrella still works, I will patent it for the amazonia pilots. As you know, crowdfunding is not that healthy, so I have to undergo new strategies to gather some cash for the fuel and airport fees…!
Tomorrow the flight is going to be short. I will don my water survival gear, plus the huge knife and the rope.
I will be looking like Tarzan (although just a little bit older and less fit…)
Sorry, no pictures will be available !

Michel, I think the rain in Belem is a good test for your RV-8. Does it leak water? If not, then you will have it as a boat in case of a water landing. No need for a life raft.
