Heating engines
Arctic taught me that it is very important to become self-sufficient. The extreme low temperatures force to have the engine preheated before starting. Some airfields have those devices available but not always or provided. That is the reason why I have designed and built a light system that you can see working at the attached video.
Of course, the hot air has to be directed into the engine cowling.
Now, I will be able to preheat my engine at Antarctica and get the safe temperatures to start it.

Excellent solution, absolutely light weight. The fuel is in the pressure bottle? Don`t forget a grid for grilling hamburgers while waiting for better weather down south…
Yes Peter, also the system is prepared for hamburgers coffee pot, and portable sauna.
The bottle , that is the fuel container, is pressurised by an included manual pump.
Now I will install the extra air heating system and a better seal for the canopy.
Also I am integrating a new landing/taxi light, and two panelled USB power sources.
Stil a lot of work to do !
