Just the shoes are mammoth size and I have to test them in the aircraft just to see if I can fly with them, or have to don it later, would I am forced to land somewhere in the cold middle of nowhere.

Also I have decided to ¨trim the belly fuel tank. It is close enough to the ground, to have me concerned about taking off at max weight on a rough and icy runways. Just imagining the possibility of a ground contact invite me to grind off the lower rear side of my brand new tank.

Finally, yesterday I received a visit of the digital newspaper ¨El Español¨

Hoy he comprado el equipo polar, que incluye todo lo que he sido recomendado llevar para sobrevivir a -40 C.

La verdad es que abulta mucho !

Y cuesta un dineral!

Las botas son enormes y será necesario que las pruebe en el avión para decidir si volaría con ellas o me las pondría caso de un aterrizaje imprevisto en algún lugar en medio de un frío ningún sitio.

También comentar que he decidido recortar la base del deposito ventral del avión. No queda mucho espacio entre el mismo y el suelo y hay un riesgo razonable de que pudiera tocar el suelo en un despegue a peso máximo sobre una pista (irregular) de hielo.

Sólo de pensarlo, los escalofríos no los quita ni el equipo polar !

En resumen, un buen tajo en su parte inferior trasera …

Finalmente informar que el periódico digital ¨El Español¨vino ayer a hacer un reportaje sobre el proyecto. Estoy seguro que darán un buen empujón al proyecto.
