Successful Landing at Dakar!
5:46 pm Sky Polaris time. Michel appears to have landed safely at Dakar, Senegal and is taxiing to parking. Congratulations to you Michel on this momentous first leg of your flight around the world!
Michel has flown over 1700 miles in 11.5 hours in a very small airplane that he built and designed specifically for this mission of flying around the world, sampling atmospheric carbon particles in remote areas, and at the same time seeking to break the FAI C1C record for long flights in a small aircraft.
Keep going Michel!
