As I write this,  the Skypolaris RV-8 with Michel at the controls is about 1/2 of the way to Mildura, AU.

Michel spent a short day at Ayres Rock and did not have any time to communicate much. He did say that he was looking for Kangaroos all along the route, however the only one he found was in the sandwich he ate. Kangaroo burger?

Mildura is a small city just northwest of Melbourne and is known for orange and grape growing. Many of the famous wineries in Australia get their grapes from this region.

The Sky Polaris flight is getting closer and closer to the continent of Antarctica. Keep watching. Posts from Michel will be here soon.
