Among the many devices and systems on-board the tiny Sky Polaris RV-8, Michel has included a flight recorder. This device records the flight in an IGC format file (International Gliding Commission). Using software, you can view the recorded flight just as if you were watching the flight all along the way. Heading, altitude, airspeed, groundspeed, etc. Michel has sent IGC files for the flight so far and using software we can see his track up to now. You can even view the flight in real time or sped up. If there is interest, we can make the files available for followers of the Sky Polaris flight to view on their own computers.
