Mogadouro es a nice airfield, located northeast of Portugal, where Redburros annual meeting is held.

Everybody can feel there the pure flavour of aviation, the traditional and lovely one.

The organisation was perfect and kindness was all the time, in the air.

Besides, all the participants were offered free BBQ and fuel.

They have been very kind to have the skypolaris RV at the VIP place, that is, inside the main hangar, for display.

Also they have promoted the project via the meeting audio system, to have everybody knowing about the flight and crow fund it.

So, it was a very nice experience.

The return flight into Madrid was very nice. Low altitude was a little bit bumpy but the view was incredible. Then, the post flight at Robledillo, with friends, was pure fun.

Mogadouro es un campo de vuelo muy majo, localizado en el noreste de Portugal, donde se celebra anualmente Redburros.

Ahi se puede sentir el puro espíritu de la aviación, como en los viejos tiempos.

La organización fue perfecta y si había algo realmente bonito, era la amabilidad de todos ellos. Aparte claro, de invitar a los participantes a una estupenda barbacoa y a combustible.

Tuve el honor de tener a mi avión expuesto en el lugar VIP, es decir, el hangar principal, donde los visitantes pudieron verlo junto con la ruta prevista.

El proyecto fue explicado por la megafonía que cubría el evento y desde donde animaron a todos los asistentes a participar en su patrocinio individual.

¡Lo pasamos muy bien!

El vuelo de regreso, a baja altitud, fue algo turbulento pero disfrutamos mi hija Lorena y yo, de un precioso paisaje.

Ya en Robledillo, la tertulia post vuelo con los amigos fue divertida y agradable. ¡No hay nada como salpimentar las anécdotas!
