The tracking system is working well and I am sure you are following the Sky Polaris flight as closely was we are at headquarters. We are counting up the lines of latitude – 81, 82, 83… and when the latitude gets to 90 degrees, Michel is over the Earths geographic north pole!

Michel is currently on track to over fly the North Pole in a few hours as I write this. The tracking will pause there while Michel “Fly’s around the World” for those generous sponsors who have signed up to have the Sky Polaris RV-8 make an orbit around the North Pole especially in their name. Thank you!

After that, Michel will head south to land at Svalbard Airport, Longyearbyen, Norway where he will receive a good welcome from supporters there.
