Longyearbyen to Aalesund, Norway
After spending a restful day in Longyearbyen, Svalbard Island, Norway, the Sky Polaris flight is again on the move – getting ever closer to Michel’s home in Madrid. He will spend a day in Aalesund, Norway where friends will take good care of him and the RV-8. At this moment, Michel is viewing the incredible western coast of Norway with thousands of small islands, ocean inlets, fjords, and mountains and beautiful architecture. What a scenic route to take after days of flying over ice and snow!

Michel just arrived at Alesund Vigra after a 7 hrs flight out of the hostile polar area. Sure he will get a warm welcome by my friend Atle, a retired airline Captain and Kitfox builder.
Sadly we missed this one. We thought Michel would fly later, on April 17th
Today Michel plans to arrive at Wuerzburg Germany late afternoon,where I will welcome him.
