Michel has arrived at Longyearbyen!

The flight status was in question since the tracking stopped working at 12:12z, and we were quite worried about Michel. However he has just notified Sky Polaris headquarters that he is safe at the Svalbard airport in Longyearbyen, Norway. After flying almost 12 hours over the most dangerous areas that a small aircraft can fly, Michel is tired but happy to be on the ground.

Congratulations Michel! Now he can continue flying toward Madrid knowing that if there is a mechanical problem, he can make an emergency landing. This was just not an option for most of the day.

We will keep you informed of more news as Michel continues to update us.
